About the Team
Samsung Photography Academy was founded in 2018 with a single goal: make professional-quality photography accessible to every Samsung Galaxy owner. Our editors, instructors, and reviewers come from backgrounds in photojournalism, commercial photography, and mobile UX, united by a shared obsession with getting the most out of a phone camera.
Every tutorial on this site is tested hands-on. We buy the phones, run the tests, and write from real-world experience rather than press-release specifications. When we recommend a setting, it's because we've shot thousands of frames with it.
Our courses have been completed by students in 90+ countries, from complete beginners to working photographers who want to add a capable phone to their kit. The Samsung Photography Academy flagship course condenses our best teaching into 60+ short 5-minute lessons, built specifically for Galaxy hardware.
